The Norwegian Embassy has announced that it will provide totally 60 scholarships for Myanmar students to study at Mahidol University in Thailand. Thus, 30 scholarships will be for two-year Master Degree and another 30 for three-year PhD Degree.
The first enrollments will be in August 2013. Applications will be assessed continously, and candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. These full scholarships will cover the following areas:
Group 1: Life Science & Health
Group 2: Social & Population Science
Group 3: Human Rights & Peace Studies
Group 4: Environmental Science
- Applicants from minority backgrounds, women and those from rural areas are especially encouraged to apply.
- Please note that awardees must return to work in Myanmar upon completing their studies.
- The first enrollments will be in August 2013
