Czech Government Scholarships


The Government of the Czech Republic offers 5 full scholarships for Myanmar/Burma students commencing their studies in the Czech Republic in the academic year 2014-15. You can select from programmes in the Czech language (Bachelor, Master or Ph.D.) or in English (Master or Ph.D.). The deadline for applications is September 30, 2013.
If you apply for a programme in Czech, you receive an intensive one year language course prior to your degree. Therefore, knowledge of Czech is not required.

What can you study?
·         Czech language (3 scholarships): Economics (Trade), ICT, Agriculture, Medicine, and Humanities
·         English language (2 scholarships) : Economics (Trade), ICT, Agriculture

Who can apply?
·         Myanmar/Burma citizen
·         If applying for a Master/PhD programme, prior Bachelor’s/Master’s degree needed

How to submit your application?
·      Deadline for an online registration and submission of your application is September 30, 2013. No application will be accepted after this deadline!

·      1st step: Read carefully the application guidelines ("Guidelines for granting scholarships of the Government of the Czech Republic") and prepare your application for submission. All documents requested for an application are listed in the Guidelines under this link:
